Apart from being the fifth anniversary of our play-off semi-final gtriumph against Tranmere at Prenton Park, today is also the National Day of Norway - syttende May or Nasjonaldagen.

Bearing that in mind, I'd like to wish all Norweigian born 'Pools players past and present (Jan Ove Pedersen, Martin Hollund, Thomas Tennebo, Rune Lange and Jon Andre Fredriksen) and all of the directors at DNO a very happy Constitution Day!

Jan Ove Pedersen currently managing in Norway, best player I've ever seen in a Pools shirt.

Now maybe he's worth a go as manager.

Won't happen just wishful thinking.I'm just thinking anyone rather than Turner, don't even know if he's been successful as a manager.

Two promotions in his first two seasons. clappp

"When SW Bregenz went bankrupt in 2004 and lost their professional license, they turned to Pedersen to coach a hastily assembled squad of amateur players. His first two seasons in charge of the now renamed SC Bregenz saw two promotions, the second of these as Vorarlbergliga champions. On 28 October 2007, just before the winter break, he was fired with SC Bregenz in the relegation zone of the Regional League West. Since 2009 he is the team manager of SV Frastanz."

Also the anniversary of your defeat Vs Rochdale.

Remember it well as it's also my wedding anniversary.

Never was there an atmosphere like that at a wedding reception when the Loids ballsed up.

Made a great day even sweeter! rolfl

Don't you have to go through the qualifying rounds now before the 1st round proper?
