the club are idiots if they do not withdraw this now, simple as !!
I expect an announcement first thing Monday stating they are withdrawing the appeal

But are they appealing against the three points or against the fact that two different organisations have fined them for the same offence and that Liddle's ban was increased?

I disagree. If they believed the punishment was unjust before Brentford then nothing has changed. It is absolutely wrong to be punished twice for the same offence and that needs challenging. I have no problem with the deduction, I think it was the correct outcome however two penalties for the same offence is just plain wrong.
