Well it was football related on a relevant topic (avoiding relegation) at a relevant time (just after it happened) from a supporter of your closest rivals, it was delivered in a light hearted way and got a few similar responses. I don't think anyone was really arsed about it but you. It would have probably ran for a day and then dropped off. Remind me not to bother in the future

With Darlingtons recent demise out of the football league, I would argue that our nearest competitive rivals are now Middlesbrough

For the record I've nothing against Hartepool as a club in fact your success or lack of it doesn't affect our crowds one bit, we've been very similar over the course of our histories.(yeah yeah you've got the upperhand for now thanks to IOR and The 2 mad Georges for that matter) You'd never drift to the dark side from Pools to Darlo or vice versa no matter what but we've all got our fair share of gloryhunters who do just that with Boro SAFC and NUFC.

As I said in the rudely deleted thread I want the derbies back, this season your demise would have helped bring that around a bit quicker. Yes I may have had a bit chuckle just for the hell of it too but I really am not that arsed. Theoretically if you were a league lower than us then I'd hope you got promoted (I may stop short of seeing us relegated to join you though)
