His team are rubbish, the big mouthed git. How many games has his team won away from home this season.

Under his management in League One, they've played 40 away games and they've only ever won 2 of them... therethere

Couldn't agree more. Complained about Andy Scott reporting one of their players to the FA (he didn't), calling Scott a 'grass' - not hypocritical at all lol

I actually imagined earlier in the season a scenario where we could stay up on the last day of the season and the Gills get relegated in the process...and low and behold it has happened.

I'm absolutely delighted that the Gills have gone down on goal difference. I think Stimson got his just desserts yesterday after he was only one to speak out negatively when the rumour started about the possibility of a points deduction.

I hope the Gills sack him now after he made those comments about us when clearly he should have minded his own business.

Gillingham's relegation showed that for a team to not win an away game all season at League One level is clearly unacceptable and they did deserve to go down. We stayed up because we scored plenty of goals during games that we won during the season. Gillingham didn't.

Well done to 'Pools though for pulling off a result though. I spent a nerve-wracking wait in an internet cafe at full-time in a youth hostel in Paris waiting for the score to come through.

I'm elated and relieved that after all the uncertainty of the last few weeks, we managed to see us over that line. The main thing was that we stayed up!!!

Of course, it hadn't been for the points deduction, we would not have had to worry in the last few weeks anyway. I know there have been times we should won when we didn't.

There were also times where the fixture list didn't help us Leeds, Southampton, Norwich away all in a row and it didn't help us when teams like Tranmere and Exeter pulled off great results to stay up.

I'm looking forward to reading the local paper next week to see what the reaction to the Gills' demise is.

What a season: Gillingham, Sheffield Wednesday and Darlington all relegated.
There were a few personal highlights in our season including wins at Orient and Swindon, beating Coventry in the League Cup, that last gasp equaliser against Leeds at home, beating Gillingham away, that 3-3 thriller with Brighton, beating Millwall and Southend at home.

Low points were Kettering in the Cup, losing to Southend when we were 2-0 away from home, losing to Exeter, Wycombe and Yeovil away from home.

Let's enjoy the summer and look forward to a brand new start in August!!! clappp

I've just read this whole thread as Oi, You! Mark Simpson and thought that's a bit harsh. Makes sense now I've re-read the heading. Time for an eye test. :uhoh: :uhoh:
