be gutted if they go down but from wot ive heard thyve been shite most of the season if they hadnt been we wouldnt be worried about losing 3 points

the fact we played an illegible player is not doubted so surely a 3 point deduction is what we should expect.

However, what has not come out is how the cock up occurred. I'd like to know:

- does the referee advise the managers after each game which players are booked? If so, we can have no complaints. If not, then IMO there is the possibility that the first the management and club knew about the booking was as they claim, when the FA charge came through the post after the Brighton match
- I would add however, does a player not have to give his name after a booking. If so, I can't see that Liddle has any excuse but still doesn't mean that the club would have known.

Clutching at straws I know but until the full facts come out I will continue to believe Turner
