Fantastic news and proves that pools obviously did nothing wrong.
I'm sure there'll be a few people disappointed with this decision.
Pools fans as well:):)

Excellent news. Don't think he'd have put it on the Echo website unless it was right.

looking a lot better now - maybe the delay was good news after all!! If it was something like the card's not in the ref's report, then there's nothing they can do!!!

You can have a murderer in the dock in front of you, but if you can't convict him within the framework of the law then you have to let him go!!!!

Maybe I'm missing something but if we are not guilty why is Liddle getting an extra ban and a fine?

It suggest that the club were not at fault as they were not notified by the FA/FL but recognises that Liddle should keep track of his own yellow card situation.

Him and club are meant to keep a check themselves but, if the refs report or League website was wrong then extenuating circumstances, good previous record and the threat of a legal scrap mean reduced punishment?

We are guilty but it looks like we've had the sort of treatment usually reserved for elderly war heroes who have fallen on hard times, shop-lifted some sausages and found themselves in court.

Bollox, chances of an appeal working after we've gone down are nil. If we had a case it needed to work today. Have to do the job on Saturday. Shyte

Just to clarify the FA have banned Liddle and fined him the Football league are the ones that have taken points away.
