Anyone remember him??

If so how good/crocked was he??

Just signed part time for Limerick there, his and my own home town team.

Only training three nights a week like

He was crocked to the extent that he retired from professional football!

true professional - never gave less than 100%. Good at breaking down opponents moves cos his reading of the game is very good, hardly ever wasted the ball and kept it simple, passing to players who can cause problems for opponents. Overall a very good central midfielder at doing the job he is put in there to do
His knees are completely shot now, like - so obviously his movement will be very restricted and that has got to have a bearing on how effective he is going to be

Our midfield in our game the other night consisted of two 19 year olds, an 18 year old and a 20 year old so to be honest even if he just comes in and sits in the centre circle shouting at them and making the odd tackle by the sound of things he'll be great. :grin:

Sounds like he's died and gone to Willie Boland Heaven :laugh:

It'll be quite a coop for you if his knees can take it, many though he was back to his best just before his career ending injury.

Well we only train three times a week and according to the man himself twas the demands of full time football as much as anything that was killing him.

The Big Debut Saturday now - Athlone away, you lot wouldn't believe the glamour. :laugh:
