Blow me I collected a 4th ball duck yesterday. The question is did I perform better than most of the POOLS team?

Seriously, a look at the fixtures indicates a strong chance of a return to footballing dark ages.......because our other teams have what looks like bankers.

Tranny will win at Stockport
Exeter at home to Hudds Town should win because Lee Clark will want to avoid injuries for the play offs given how much money he spent he must be under pressure to reach finals

The Gills bad run away surely has to come to an end sometime and second bottom relegated Wycombe is the next easiest fixture after Stockport.

In all my years of supporting POOLS the best I can remember at Brentford is a 1976 Graham Richardson penalty save to get a 1 - 1. Our problem away from home is we simply are just leaking too many goals in.

I know some of the players I will name below are not exactly world beaters these day but for me Sweeney & Humphries will die for the cause and must play the question is who else will give their all, no matter what their limitations are, and despite all the criticism surely Hartley will for his home town club. Play him tucked in at the back and ask Monky for once to get up and down the left hand line and be the only natural width. If it is not pipping hot when fitness will matter you can then make a straight choice between Boyd/ Brown to partner ODO and if you go with the former Browny wide right! If Billy Horner was in charge he would play 5 Linighans at the back!
