So there's a League Hearing and and F.A. Hearing.
I thought there'd only be one. What sanction can each have on the matter?

We've all been assuming the worst case scenario is losing 3 points, could it be more damaging than that?

Dead simple
Football league can dock us points as we are playing in their competition.
The F.A. can give us a bollocking/fine for breaking their rules

This delay is a good thing as it means Tranmere,Exeter & Gillingham dont get a morale boos before Saturdays kick off
As I said earlier in the week the league will then (hopefully) have the luxury of being able to dock us 3 points knowing that its irrelevant.

& that my friends is absolutely definetely a GUESS

I'd be very surprised if we were docked more than 3 points.

So surely that means if the heaviest points deduction the Club have been managed to come up with is 3 points and that if we make sure we match Tranmere and Wycombe's results on Saturday and see Saturday out, then surely we'll be completely safe won't we?

Yeah, but that's all very well assuming we lose to Exeter on Saturday. We really should be beating them on Saturday in my opinion.

The FA will want to bar us from the Champions League.

I don't understand why there have to be two hearings for the same offence.

If we are found guilty and then punished by the football league surely that is it.

Unless the fa hearing is set just in case we want to appeal. In that case the fa will be rubbing their sweaty little hands in anticipation of rubbing our noses further in it due to their usual accusation of frivolity.

I fear the bloody worst, especially if the weekend goes against us.

I hope against hope that the first hearing is to determine our level of guilt and the second to decide the punishment.

Could there be 2 hearings due to there being 2 charges, one against the Club and one against Liddle.

Maybe the league hearing is against the club, as we play in their competition. The FA against Liddle as don't discipline hearings against player's come under the auspice of the FA.

Like Groove though that's just a guess.

I've heard the F.A. may make us play all our home games next season behind closed doors as a punishment, if Turners still in charge.............yippee!
