Sounds good to me, looking at the big picture, a bit of managerial diruption and uncertainty is very welcome.

I remember what happened a few years ago a team were streets ahead in Division 4 and their manager left half way through the season........

It can't be Pools because they weren't streets ahead until AFTER their manager left.

Yes we were favourites and we remained so for quite a while after Tubby went.
In Newell's first 19 games in charge we picked up 35 points. If Walsall change managers tomorrow and their new one does as well as that, they'll finish on 94 points which I'd guess they won't be too unhappy about.

But we had a very good squad. The bus is reputed to have driven itself.
The question is does Walsall's current strength come from the driver or from the passengers?
