There's never been any indicaton of us going for him though and I'm sure he'd have taken a paycut given that we're on his doorstep.

He's never been the best defender in the world but his assists, goals and attacking nature make up for that as MJ says. Am sure we could afford his wages if Turner went for quality over quantity.

i think thats part of our problem. Carlisle signed Harte & Kavanagh in recent yaers. Both past their best, but both excellent short term signings, giving Carlisle experience & quality.

We could do with signing one or 2 players like them...
