I think you probably can yes as you can book them when you book train tickets online.

Why would you want to? Just use one of the machines at Kings Cross, piece of piss and will take about 30 seconds.

Just checked you won't be able to buy them from Hartlepool, but honestly if you use the machines to the right of the desks (where normally the queue is big) you'll be sorted in no time.

Kev,you will need a travelcard which will be £6.30 which means you can get on & off the tube as often as you like for a pint

you can get a direct tube from Kings Cross to South Ealing station which is a 10 minute walk to the ground

To go by tube & overground
Victoria line to Vauxhall followed by south west trains overground to Brentford

Direct tube
Picadilly line to Souh Ealing

the tube passes through Covent Garden,Leicester Square & Picadilly Circus if you fancy the west end or Hammersmith is only 2 stops away from South Ealing.

Either way the journey is about 3/4 of an hour

Yes, it covers tube, overland train and bus travel all day. As Mr Tree has already said, it will cost you £6.30 - you need to cover zone 4. There'll be plenty of ticket machines around to get your ticket when you get to Kingscross.

10 minute walk my arse!!! At least a 30 minute walk!!!!
The only way to Brentford without getting a no 65 bus or walking miles is the train from Waterloo to Brentford station, which is right behind the away end.
Don't know about youse lot but that's what I'm doing -tube to Waterloo then train!!!!

Or drive there, and park in one of the streets near to the ground, like we did for the 0-0 cup tie against them a few years ago. Walking around the ground, I got the shock of my life to see my sister coming the other way. I don't think she had been to a match in her life before. Her resourceful husband, a devoted Poolie, had told her he was taking her to London for the weekend.

if I wanted to be real anal, i'd could say Victoria Line to Vauxhall and then train to Brentford - no tube change and one stop down the track from waterloo :coool:

tis true Mr Chessington, cos the Northern Line from Waterloo ends up in Euston as opposed to Kings Cross, but it's only a 5 minute walk from Euston to Kings Cross in any case - with the Euston Flyer and O'Neill's en route for further refreshments!!!!

Plus the fact that if you end up walking round Waterloo mob handed, you will attract the attention of Millwall as I found out when I was with the Luton lads!!!!
