I don't think anyone is obstructing him, or doing anything to stop him doing his job.

I might go to the training ground one day and move some comes around a just be a general nuisance, shout the opposite of his instruction over the megaphone and the like….. or at the next home game when the players come out lock him in the dressing room then sit in the dugout myself. When and if that happens you may just have a point.

What are people doing to stop him?

If he had us 3 points behind Leeds people would criticise him, if he had taken over straight after Scotty and lead us to where we are now he would be a hero to some and villan to others.

As far as I can see very few Football managers are above criticism by the fans for their management of players, style of football, selection policy, general results. I am pretty sure Turner knew this when he took the job, if he didn't it would be like becoming a copper and then spitting your dummy out when asked to arrest a scrote cos you thought it infringed his 'uman rites.

in that case I hope it's the landing at Heathrow Airport. That'll keep him out of the way for some time

I've been thinking of some things I'm going to shout on my megaphone at training to obstruct and confuse, basically the opposite train of though to our director of sport;

"Go on lads get that second goal, 2-0 at half time is a great lead the best in football and in no way something you should be fearful of"

"Do you know what? With a decent manager you lot could be a half decent side"

"Hard luck Jonesy lad, you had bad ten minutes I know but I am going to keep faith with you"

"I resign"

"Leeds are shite, as are Charlton and Norwich... Southampton pah!! I don't give a fuck about how many people watch them and if they played in the Premiership before they are in the fooking third division now. Budget?? It's eleven v eleven on grass I'm having none of that talk"

If "getting on with his job" involves a 2 year incubation period where endless suffering is involved well so be it, but if, after the suffering, the goods are'nt produced well there's only gonna be one outcome mate.

So what I'm saying is, if we start next season with 6 home games before we see a win, followed by being knocked out of the J.P. Trophy by Lincoln City at home, then falling in the F.A. Cup at the first hurdle to Crawley Town then the end of my tether will have been reached, and I will choose to walk away.......Cappiche.
