probably a question for Mr M but when did the high boards get taken away and why sctatchinghead I remember as a kid when you could only dive off the boards, looking down from the top board was terrifying but I still used to dive off as a 7/8 year old :coool:

I was there with the wife and kids last week, I had a lovely hot shower after but the ladies showers were freezing apparently.........the wife wasn't impressed rolfl rolfl

The Platform Boards went down about a year ago....the were damaged and would have cost too much to repair!!!! confised

We aren't bothered like....keeps a load of daft lads away!!!! :coool: :grin:

Shame about the Showers....but we'll be moving into a new state of the art 'Changing Village' the start of next week....hopefully!!!! confised :grin:

cheers for that. Shame about the boards but i'd be too scared to go up now anyway :uhoh:

The new reception looked really posh but any chance of getting some talent behind the counter and come to think of it, any chance of getting some female lifeguards :coool:

I'll never forget when I was a kid sat in the cafe upstairs, someone threw a turd up from the pool which landed at the top of one of the glass windows and then slowly slid down to the bottom

ahh.... memories

There's some top notch Bewers working at the baths....as I'm sure some on here will tell you!!!! :razz: :grin:

yeah but the good news is, its turned crusty and is no longer considered a health hazard to small children
