I was quite far away but it looked like McLeod had clearly ignored the ball and went for the man. I didn't see any elbows but he obviously clattered Nelson with somthing.

I watched it on football league review and watched it frame by frame and although they only just come into the picture I believe that you can see McLeod raising his elbow just before Nelson can get a header in.

they come into picture just as the camera is following the ball no where near the incident

That's what happened to Ben Clarke at Scunny if you remember. They conveniently 'ran out of tape.'

I expect it's too much to hope that the digital era had reached Scunny, like. :wink:

This is seriously good news for Pools. With their leading goalscorer missing for the next five games we will likely be looking at a string of draws or worse for them.
