Brentford...HELP!!

I am actually wanting to go to this game.... but having looked at the trains and having looked at the costs of trains.... No chance.
Having looked at the miles away from me (215 miles) that will cost in excess of £100 petrol then the rest of the days costs. thats knocking on £200 for one day out at the footy.
So, if anyone is getting a bus down.... that would be superb for me. or pick me up on the way down at a services.....or come to some sort of solution.

Any ideas?!

What are you driving that only does 20mpg? If you can make it as far as Nottingham I'll give you a lift (company car you see, free fuel)

Brilliant offer Mr I, thanks!. Just checked with her sister who lived in Nottingham if we could crash there the Friday but its bang in the middle of her Uni. exams. sods law isnt it!!

It would be just myself. Her indoors would be lending me her little Punto to get accross.... it would be a very early start to do a car share but it will save me cash which I will be giving you cash for the 'free' petrol/diesel you'd be using....

If your passing Huntingdon on the a1 I wouldnt mid a lift, was going to go on the train but would rather go with someone than on my tod.

Surely anyone passing Huntingdon going from Hartlepool to Brentford is not someone you want a lift off, they are clearly lost.

Its was addressed to anyone going down the A1 as you would have to pass Huntingdon. If there are no takers I will just go on the train from Stevenage

Would have thought getting to London down the A1 from Hartlepool is a common route given the roadworks on the M1 near your place?
