i hope Pools get some legal help and put everything like this to the football league/F.A. It probably won't make a jot of difference, but it just goes to show, the whole system is rubbish*.

*Not detracting from the fact that Pools are fooking useless and it's their own fault.

The best chance we have got of beating this rap is if the football league are not whiter than white in all this, which they certainly don't appear to be.
However, it must be remembered that it is a lower league club we're talking about here.

All matches are recorded for tv. Did the referee show Liddle a yellow card or not? Its another thing to question.

Also why don't referees (or the 4th official) check the eligibility of players on a database when team sheets are handed in 45 minutes before kick off. Do clubs have access to the FA's disciplinary database?

Mind you this is all bit like W C Fields who on his death bed asked for a copy of the Bible. When asked why he wanted the Bible when he was a confirmed atheist he replied "I'm lookin for loophole".

Maybe an email to the club just to point out the discrepancies you have found . May well help and with the current lack of "knowledge" within the club, they probably don't know what you have found.

Madjohn for Chairman CEO secretary, press officer, manager, assistant and throw in centre forward as well you just might score.

agreed - how do some of these people at HUFC hold down their jobs when there are far more competent people who could replace them?
Send it in cos they sound like they need every bit of help they can get, at least it is SOME mitigation

I wonder if that's why Liddle himself has been charged as well ?

Pools could argue that they didn't know he had been booked at Orient, but Liddle hardly can.

Surely it must of been in the refs report ,its seems like there is blame to be laid in a few places here which can only help in pools arguement if we do get docked points.

well some of this potentially sounds promising.

If the club can prove that they were unaware of the yellow card, then it would be up to the Referee report to confirm this.

Are the club given a copy of the referees report after the game?

if not and it is just sent to the FA then thats a major issue with the FAs system.

The club need to be made aware of this...

The club SHOULD be competent enough to argue their own battles. Its shouldnt be up to MadJohn or anyone else to help them get out of the shiit. Let them try and show some intelligence for a change.

They are not OUR club anymore though! They are a business and a fairly incompetent one at that. They stopped being OUR CLUB when they stopped lsitening to the paying customers and functioning as a 'charity' for mates.

Like I said, let the useless feckers deal with their own mess. They can fork out for a legal bod to do the necessary research. Im sure Ken will only be too willing to pay a mate to represent "our club"

is there a legal term for killing a football club (similar to homicide, patricide etc)

If there is then Tubby should be arrested and charged immediately

I'm sure I heard on the match commentary yesterday that Pools were notified on Tuesday (the day after we played Brighton) that Gary Liddle was on 10 bookings. Obviously by then we had already played the game. So surely there is some error on the FA's part as well.
