...beat Wycombe and we can stop looking over the shoulder so often. Stockport can't mathematically catch us now, as unlikely as it was, if we beat Wycombe they can't either. Southend are at Leeds next, who knows what's happening there, certainly not the Leeds lot I talk to.

Gillingham had a good result today but they go to Millwall next and Millwall can go second but Swindon could stay there if they beat Colchester who are in a bit of a downward spiral.

Next week it's Exeter v Orient, don't really care but a draw would push us in the right direction. We'll have to see what happens to Oldham at Huddersfield on Monday as they've got two games in hand now. Yeovil are away at Stockport and the Walsall lot said Stockport peppered them all game last week and got a draw, so if we hope for that we can move up a bit.

I can't see a large point return from them. In fact sticking my head on the block I predict ZERO.

looking at remaining fixtures i can see oldham only picking up 4 more points and leyton orient only 6 more. Realistically we probably only need 4 more points to be safe.

Didn't see anyone pumping at the crowd like. that kind of thing should be frowned upon.

Great weekend for us and I didn't anticipate that at all after the previous performance. I thought we did a great job on Brighton who looked half decent on the break and it was brilliant to see Flinders in top form and obviously pumped and determined not to concede. Some top quality stops and the one onto the bar and from the header rebound was class. Great commitment that has seemed lacking from a lot of the squad recently. I think the short time spent in the bottom four has given them a right kick up the arse.

Lidds and Collins played really well and made some key interceptions and the midfield after a changing shape did a good job. Two great goals to cap it off.

If we can get 4 points from next 2 games I think that will be enough for us to relax a bit and then see if Turner can give Power and Rowell a game to see what they can do before the big decisions of who is retained. However hopefully it will be a new manager having the final say.
