just got around to watching it, quality film, very well made and nostalgic....

but it did make brian clough look like an idiot compared to his mate peter taylor

I must of watched a different version


He looked egotistical rather then clueless

Bremner hated his guts and loved Revie

Mind you Leeds certainly thrived once they kicked Cloughie out

guess you did watch a different version

the version I watched had taylor telling clough which players to sign(dave mackay, colin todd etc) which turned derby into a great side

when sacking him, the leeds board telling clough they should never have taken him on without taylor

and finally at the end clough getting down on his knees in brighton and begging taylor to work with him again

In Brian Clough's autobiography, Walking on Water, Clough admits Taylor was the one who could spot the good players. Oddly enough, Clough never mentions in his book any personal dislike of Revie.
