I haven't seen the pitch for a while now but it sounds as though it's in a sorry state and that after years of been the best in the business!!!! confised confised

So what's happened???? sctatchinghead

And it seems a bit strange that they are holding a number of tournaments on the pitch at the end of the season after years of ripping the pitch up!!!! confised confised

It's the worst it's been for about ten years but we haven't really had a winter as bad as this in that time, I'm no expert but that can't have helped.

on radio borer turner was blaming the pitch saying it was a bit bobbly and that it was hard to get proper control of the ball,so now who or what is left to blame?

Its probably the only chance in the next few months that people have a chance to see some decent footy banghead

i think the groundsman said last year that the frost was to blame for it last season. i imagine the harsh winter will be the reason for it this year

He also said that we failed to equalise because of all of those Seagulls that seem to congregate above the Millhouse every week with about ten minutes to go, they put us off with all the screeching. Teams at the top end of the league don't get such luck. They were also to blame for Scott Flinders kicking, and Joe Gamble forgetting we were playing in blue.

He also said several other things that blamed everything but himself.

I got it from a good sauce that Turner is blaming a lack of grass feed on the pitch. I find this amazing given the amount of shiite thats been on it this season.

Richie Jones saw Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Birds' as a nipper and it terrified him. That is why he always gets subbed before the Gulls descend.

FACT*

*That and the fact he's not called Sweeney.

Blaming the pitch makes me laugh.
Whilst our pitch isn't as good as it usually is, it is twenty five times better than the pitches all teams had to play on at this time of year not so long ago.
just another excuse.
It was, after all, the same for both sides.
