i highly doubt i will get a response, but i sent him this.....

Chris,

Where has it all gone wrong? We were nicely placed in November, players looking like they were finally starting to gel.....then a nose-dive of similar proportion to last seasons debacle.

We have 8 games left to save our skin and our PRIDE. Do you realise the gravity of the situation? Do the players?

Do they care? I mean REALLY care?

At this stage of the season, the bare minimum i would expect to see is a team playing with a plan, with a bit of organisation. Eleven players that when they cross that white line, play with 100% determination for the good of the club that pays them well.

If they aren't playing to your instructions (and lets face it, they can't be, because i doubt you tell them to go out and act clueless and play without passion) then has it crossed your mind that you have lost the dressing room?

The players don't appear to be listening to you, or following your instructions through. I was unfortunate enough to witness the away match at Tranmere, where a poor team were there for the taking.......no not Tranmere, us.

We put up the usual fight against Southampton (players only turning up against the so-called 'big' teams?)

The Swindon match we were in some ways, unlucky. Hitting the woodwork twice while they score from their only real chance is unlucky, however how many players can hold their hand up and truthfully say "i did my best"? They looked uninterested, de-motivated and didn't look like they had a gameplan.

You were given the scope to bring in 14 new players this season and you said you were going to play square pegs in square holes. Yet here we are playing a centre back on the left, a central midfielder on the right, a left midfielder up front when we have 8 strikers on the books.

Please don't just pass this off as a rant from a negative minded fan, it's not. I have consistently defended you when everyone else was losing their faith. I am just gobsmacked that things have been left to get as bad as they have become.

The quality of football this season has been, by far, the worst i have witnessed under IOR. No flair, no passion, no hope.

What i would like to see for the final 8 games is simple. I want to see a team playing with a plan. With flair players playing with confidence, in their correct positions. I want the team to play with determination. With them playing with that 'never say die' attitude.

Can that happen under your stewardship? I honestly don't believe it can and that is a damn shame.

Yours,

Chris Byers (misterb2001)

well said - but I doubt you'll get anything but another dishonest reply from him (if you get one at all)

You are trying to make him see what we all see - but he is in denial of it and won't accept he is to blame for this mess
