In fact it would probably make Pools more money, if they were up there in the promotion push they would get bigger crowds which equals more money.....

Lot of ifs there. There's no guarantee we'd be at the top and if we weren't attendances might drop further, away support would be smaller, fewer "big" visitors to attract the floaters etc.

Planning to get relegated from Christmas on would have to be part of a wider masterplan wouldn't it? There's a lot to criticise but saying stuff like that is just plain daft.

Yes but there is far more chance of us being in the promotion race if we were in League 2 than if we are in the current league... surely even YOU can work that out.... and regarding away support........ I dont think they have been coming to the Vic in there drooves this season, do you?

More chance yes but not guaranteed. Why do you think IOR bought the club? It wasn't as a money spinner was it? Taking us down deliberately on the chance of scoring some extra revenue makes no sense at all. If they're short they can sell us and save a lot more than that sort of stunt would.

And the drooves they're coming in this year are still bigger than the fourth division drooves we've had for most of our existence.

When we go down, there's no chance of us been in the promotion mix.
