Not quite it was reported that it could be axed something like 6-8 months ago, maybe if you read more than just the BBC site , you would have known that.

It wasn't really the same after they changed the theme tune and the titles.

That's what made it what it was: the feet, the music and Tosh.

I would rank it in my all time 5 tops shows along with el dorado, the liverbirds, ever decreasing circles and to the manor born.

It was good 15 years ago with Sgt Cryer, DI Carver & Reg Hollis but when they went it should have been axed a long time ago.

Best was when the station got bombed and they killed a load of them off. Should have then bombed the Vic, The Rovers Return, that poncy wine bar in Neighbours, and Jeremy thingy who shouts at poor uneducated people in the mornings. Plus Good Morning Britain.

That would be public service broadcasting.

Well, this has come just after they decided to revamp the show, so they must have thought at some stage that it was going to be worth it.

Well I can't see anyone ever willingly leaving Eastenders now.

Who is going to employ them?
