Lee Bullock.

No, wait, listen, hear me out.

Just for the laugh, and to show that we're switched on, ironic, witty, influential people on the Bunker, let's all vote for Lee.

It'll save all that 'It means more because the fans voted for it.' bollocks that we have to listen to every year, 'cos he won't dare say it.

Wha' say?? :sweet: :sweet: :sweet:

Otherwise it'll just be Mickey Nelson again and he above all the others would appreciate the joke.

So after twenty seven games and all last season where you vicariously shovelled shit over his head, 'cos he had a belter yesterday, he's your hero??

I'm sure you're in touch with your feminine side some days.............

Did I say 'some??...............'

Sorry. I'm in a different time zone!!

this post is so wrong.

nelson should get player of the season, and i shall tell you why.

he has been north east player of the year 2 years out of the last 3 in the sunday sun.

he nearly won it again last year in a relegated side, and is in with a chance of doing it again this year. the man is superb and unlike some of the rats leaving the sinking ship stayed put in the close season to put right the wrongs.

for the last four seasons i can recall one game where he had a stinker.

number of times nelson has been named pools player of the year thus far ??????

if he does not get it this season we should all be fookin ashamed of ourselves.

Nah Willie Bolland for me!

No Chip you are spot on, Nelse is immense, a cut above the cart horses that pass for central defenders in this division

Irony Chip, irony, and to show we're a bit different.

I know, you know, the world knows, Christ, even Radio Borer and darlo Uncovered know that Nelse is one of the best in the business, and in a straight contest, there isn't one.

But as I said, Nelse himself would appreciate the joke as he seems to have a cranky sense of humour just like the rest of us.

And if we can do the business on the darlo fan(s) and get them to vote for Bullock as well, all the time thinking that they're being clever, well so much the better.

We came close to pulling off a similar coup in the Sheffield Wednesday player of the month vote two or three seasons back.
The Murphy twins were VERY unlucky to finish second

It's actually buffalo milk, me owld silver haired cavalier, and it's fantastic. It lasts about a fortnight without going off, it's 3p a bucketful but the problem is, it's so creamy it's giving me sinus problems!! Marvellous milky coffee though. I'll send you some purple bread as well if you want??   makes fab toast!!

All that bleached out EEC regulated rubbish you're eating over there must be slowly killing youse all!!

Now then, Lee Bullock for POTY or what?? The ultimate laugh for a squad with a legendary sense of humour??

Come on lads, sign up!! You know it makes sense!! rolf

Noooooo, don't give it to Nelse. The POTY is a curse, just look at what happened to Sharpy, Provett and Porter when they won it. Give it to Bullock.
