Lets assume this thing is a couple of years old in which case it will be a 30k motor car.

He will have put down a deposit say 20% that leaves 24k on finance. Over five years thats going to work out at about £450 a month (plus the same again on insurance but that might be covered by IOR). Obviously he might well have put down a bigger deposit in which case the repayments will be less.

For a lad on £1500 a week he will have a take home pay of roughly £4500 so £900 a month doesn't kill him.

Chances are, IOR have a personal contract hire scheme groupwide and Pools players will be entitled to take advantage of it. My bet is that this is the method that these players are driving all these flash cars. I'd be suprised if that car is costing Liddle any more than £600 a month including insurance.
