Sorry, have just seen this, Mr Salt.
I didn't know about the change in venue, but I'm afraid I don't know where St Bega's is. I don't actually get to the Pot House very often...I like the Young'Uns (as you said, a change in name might be a good thng there!) but other singers there rarely sing the sort of stuff I like.

You getting back into folk?

Anyone know why the change of venue. Unless there's irony involved St Bega's school hall sounds like it won't have a bar. The thought of it.

No idea. One of life's great mysteries, perhaps. Like why someone should tag on to organisations that he's visited once, twice, or not at all. HUFC, Pot House, Bunker 5 a side.........

No really.....does anyone know why they changed venue. It'd be sad if the place folded, it was a good night there.

The Pot House has closed and reopened in the recent past. Maybe once more a victim of the recession, which some reckon is now over!

We got thrown out of our folk haven for the same reason i.e. pub refurbishment. The folkies drank a few pints in the Pot House the night we were there, maybe they'll have them back because of that.
