Well said misterb. We're all pools supporters 1st and foremost but if anyone has any ideas for helpin BT out, i.e. sponsored events, go to a game or whatever i'm sure a fair few poolies would help out.

It changed now but not because of the thread, simply because its run its time and made its point.

I know I am a newbie around here but this debacle has done one thing, it has focussed the attention away from our on the field trouble and Turner has had much less flack this week.

Legally HUFC are almost certainly right, Morally very bankrupt but I believe it is possible to have an opinion on one matter without stopping supporting the lads. That doesn't stop me as a fan of HUFC being annoyed at the constant silent treatment from those that run the club. I hope BTFC end up better off, I hope IOR know what they are doing and if it falls to some of the fans of HUFC to help our neighbours I would be there.

I am so passionate about my club that I will not keep quiet when I think anybody, and that is ANYBODY, is bringing the club into disrepute which closing down another club is in my eyes.

I know IOR have done wondrous things for my club and I would bet that they are legally right in this case......BUT.....there is right and there is right.

...and to be honest I fail to see what was stupid about the banner. Jean Luc Picard has appears on a few banners and the frustrated almost disbelieving demeanour regarding the £10k pretty much sums up the general opinion.
