I've just seen in the paper that the police believe that whoever was responsible for killing that woman in Vigo, near Meopham down here might have had an anti-bomb expertise background.

I'm not surprised that the husband of the woman that's been killed has been arrested over this.

The village where it happened, Vigo, is a small village just outside Meopham, which is a small commuter town between Gravesend and Dartford in North Kent.

If anyone not from Kent recognises Dartford, apparantly it was where the once League Club Maidstone United played their home games when Maidstone didn't have a suitable ground and then subsequently slipped down the Leagues.

I think a few of the family came down here and went over to Dartford for this game, but I was only very young in 1990/1991:

That's nothing, Mr. Paulus. About 1600 years ago, East Kent was full of Danes and Belgians.

Capel-le-Ferne near Folkestone was probably influenced by it's closeness to France.

It was a pity I was too young at the time.
