3-0 up in half an hour at home to Huddersfield.

I've got a feeling we're going to have quite a hard game down there.

they have lost only 3 times in their previous 26 league matches
Not to mention they are in the JPT final and got to the 5th round of the Cup
Beat Norwich away 2-0 as well - easily will be champions next season in my opinion
They are still 14 points away from the play offs even by beating Hudds tonight - can't see even them making that up with only 13 or 14 games left

Got 2 games in hand on Huddersfield however. I can see them doing it.

I think I might have a bet on our fixture in 3 weeks time....

Having said that it's only a few days before the JPT final so might be worth leaving alone. You just don't know what team they'll put out and how arsed the players will be.

They've got a decent run-in and will fancy their chances I reckon on recent form.

What year was it pools made up a pretty large points deficit to make the play offs on the last day of the season?

We were 7 points short before those last 5 matches.

Based on that I can't see them not making it. Milwall are sh*t and won't make it, Huddersfield have been no great shakes.

Soton are 10/1 for promotion, if they go into the play-offs in decent form I think they could carry it through.

They're still 14 points behind Millwall & Huddersfield though.

Milwall are shyte and won't make the play-offs.

They have 2 games in hand on Huddersfield, that'll take them down to 8 point should they win them both (at home to us and Oldham).

Their last 4 games are Oldham, Carlisle and Southend all at home and a trip to Gillingham. A dream run-in. If they can get enough points between now and then, am sure they'll make it.

They've scored 10 goals since Saturday.....we've scored 11 in the whole of 2010!  banghead banghead

Did you go. 2 players that played that day are still on Pools books. No cheating who are they??? POK only please.

A Daryll Clarke hat trick as well.

Steve Baines ex lower league player was the referee, I didn't mind him as a referee

Clarkes header for his 3rd goal easy came off Hendo's head, but he let him have it.

Given that the game was in the last 46 years, one of the two players doesn't take much guessing.

Boydie, because he scored that day and Sir Ritchie Humphreys.

All that result highlights is how much the phrase 'this league is stronger than previous seasons' is way off the mark.

Huddersfield aren't any better than any other 6th placed team in previous seasons, actually I thought they were pretty poor the other week just not quite as bad as us. Norwich and Leeds in 1st and 2nd aren't any better than the Luton's, OPR's, and Plymouth's of previous seasons either they just get bigger crowds.

We've seen that for ourselves in recent weeks, the Saints won't keep that going I'd rather play them on another night than tonight!

All that score highlights is that Huddersfield went flat out when they played us at the weekend (as always), and had not enough left in the tank after they had played their cup final.

Or that Leeds have bottled it big time and can no longer string two passes together which will ultimately result in them spending another season with all the little clubs in little League One.

.. a 'revision' from
'we're top and staying there' ......Your usual table with a view of Division One for next season Sir, .... the one at the top you have to vacate when things get 'busy' towards the end of business'....?

7 points out of the last 18 and Charlton have turned the form corner and catching rapidly. Yeah, sure you'll be fine.
