The apology was worse than the rant. What was it that Clinton said, something along the lines of; 'never explain, never apologise. Your friends don't need it and your enemies will use it against you'.

The majority of us are peed off with how things are going with the club right now. A rant on here is a much needed release.

Well people should direct their rants at the club and not individuals and others shouldn't jump on the fucking bandwagon and that is the problem with this board.

Personal digs from people who do little to contirbute anything of value and substance. There's countless people who do what they can for the club (and i ain't fucking talking about me) whenever they can who no doubt by now are feeling victimised and intimidated by faceless ranters off this board, who then carry this over into real life. Some people aren't as thick skinned as me and or maybe getting right fucked off with it and there's only the club, and ergo the fan, who will suffer, when they reluctantly withdraw their support.

So the board bullies, and those who think that being a smart arse with another fan just because he has the ability to do something different other than log into this forum all day and gets acknowledged for it by the people that he does it for - ie the club - can feel pretty fucking proud of themselves.

By the way alttough it was Mutley's turn to open this can of worms, it ain't directed at him, I've had the PMs off him and we're good.

A fair enough post. Personally I totally appreciate efforts yourself/Elvis or whoever makes to help the club. The problem is though Katcha, that those with an involvement with the club are never going to stay impartial. If those who criticise the club on here are greeted with a 'rolling eyes' smiley from you, for example, then you cant be surprised if those bunker members end up directing some rants in your direction.

I appreciate that you may be put in an awkward position on here at times and the same with Elvis but that is the problem if you constantly appear to defend the club/the manager whoever.

Now I dont know if away from the board/ in the pub or whatever you express a more 'typical' opinion of a pools fan but its just how it comes across on here [I may come across as a right negative silly boy on here but im not really ]. Those who just know of you on the bunker will sort of associate you with the club because of your reluctance to criticise the club. Fortunately for me I dont have any ties with the club so dont worry about criticising.

I hope that sort of makes sense. Frustrations are obviously VERY high right now and im sure there will be MANY more disagreements over the remainder of the season.

I neither have the need nor desire but you only have to go through posts to see that i say what i want when i want. Negativity doesn't always have to be personal and them aimed at people who have different impressions of the performances of the fuck ers who are really to blame.
