So time to turn the telly over rather than watching that bunch of obscenely paid dicknuts!!!! :evil:

I used to go and watch them a lot and even going abroad for friendly's but now i have no interest in watching them but as soon as the world cup comes around no doubt i will enjoy every minute of watching them

3 observations for me....

1) The commentator said it was a brilliant finish etc etc Errr Rob Green left his near post far too open and dived under a soft side footed placed shot. WE have no outstanding keepers but Joe Hart is the best of the lot.

2) The commentator just said "Egypt are doing some nice passes in triangles, or should that be pyramids?" Errr no.

3) Who on earth is our first choice right back?? It cant be Wes Brown surely? How come we there is such a lack of english right backs???

wes brown is playing through default, cos basically we have no one else.

For me the best RIGHT BACK in this country is phil neville, just cos he doesnt bomb on and beat people and cross it in people dont appreciate him but he is the best defender and when i was a lad thats what people wanted in a right back, let the other fuckers attack.

Zidane is a class act for them (always bought him on footy manager) watch him rip the pish here on youtube...

Glen Johnson is our first choice right-back and a very good one as well.

How am i suprised at a braincell like you with the football knowledge of a tortoise not knowing that?

I thought England played well tonight on an awful surface.

We beat a good side and deserved to. If we can get our best eleven on the field in South Africa we have a chance. Ironically I think Leighton Baines is a better left back than Wayne Bridge so at least someone has benefited from Terry's knob ratting! Terry himself has looked really, really average since it all mind. Is it all getting to him or are we just putting him under more scrutiny and have noticed he isn't actually as good as everyone said!?
