Only Fools And Horses!!!!

I got the full gadaffy Box Set for Xmas!!!! :coool:

Anyway....I've now watched the full 7 series and now I'm on to the one off specials....(watching the 'Miami Vice' one at the moment)....but does anyone else think it's over rated????

I don't think I've actually laughed once whilst watching them!!!! confised

Could it be that it is over rated or is it because I've seen them that many times????

But then again I've seen all of the Rising Damps loads of times but still laugh out loud at them!!!! :coool:

I must concur. Its not bad or anything but isnt as good as people like to make out. Over-rated on account of being british, like the beatles.

I do remember laughing at the odd bit of Only Fools - usually bits with Trigger in them. But, I must agree - Rising Damp is ten times funnier... clappp

OFAH was really funny in its day but it gets repeated so often on UKTV that it's just boring now.

Think thats the main problem with it. Everyone's seen them all over and over again. I got all the love thy neighbours last year, they were good. Also Laurel and Hardy. Fookin genius. :grin:

The funniest clip in Only Fools & Horses is the Chandelier with Grandad....FACT!!!! :grin:

I agree about the Trigger comment....but having watched all the series's it's amazing how little lines he actually had in Only Fools!!!! confised

I was also amazed at how often they used the word 'Paki'....and not just in the early episodes!!!! confised

Now....'The Green Green Grass'....that was Comedy!!!! :roll:

I saw a good US sitcom on TV last year called The Class.

I didn't manage to finish the whole series, but I thought it was excellent.

I want to see the whole of Friends as well.

Mr. Bri, if you liked Friends, then you would like The Class I think.

I find it funny too. Our lass watches it religiously but secretly i do find it funny and would certainly rather watch that than any of the other shit on tv

In full concurrence. The script was/is so sharp. Compare it with On The Buses, Love Thy Neighbour, etc, quality comedy shows, but they don't stand the test of time like Steptoe or Fawlty Towers.

The Inbetweeners is brilliant, I watch all of Blackadder goes forth and the third series about the Prince regent never stopped laughing.

The early series of red dwarf was funny as well.
