That seemed to return to the team tonight it appeared to be the self belief that has characterised the majority of Pools teams since Hodcroft arrived at the club.

Every player got really stuck in and bar the opening 15 minutes Carlisle were never allowed to settle.

I'd said before the game that I had seen enough in the Leeds and Huddersfield games to convince me that we could beat Carlisle easily and I'm very happy to see that the team clearly knew they could win easily too.

A great win. Still a long way to go but well done lads.

it's about time though!! I honestly believed the situation was getting irretrievable - but this definitely gives hope for survival. A comprehensive win against one of your relegation rivals does the power of good.
Hate to say it but Saturday's match is one we'll be very unlikely to get anything other than beaten as they are shit hot at home
Hopefully the team can survive and get a new manager in place in the summer

Yeah with all the will in the world I can't see us getting anything out of this Saturday's game. Good performance v Carlisle or not.
