Now if that team can make it to a final it makes you wonder why we don't try Harder in the Johnston Paints Trophy!!

Yep it beggars belief why we don't/can't go all the way in this competition
would be a trip to Wembley and trophy in the cabinet taboot! As you say
if a Carlisle side like last night's can do it then so can we!
Didn't we field an understrength side one year and were fined for doing
so then twisted and complained about it for weeks?

I've never understood why we don't take this competition very seriously as apart from the play-offs, it's the only way we're ever going to get to Wembley. We don't field under strength teams in the FA cup or League cup and we have no realistic chance of winning either one of those. banghead
