A new film about the lives of a group of Gillingham fans is to be released in selected cinemas across the country on March 5th.

The title is taken from the Club motto of the Gills which used to be on their crest:

DOMUS CLAMANTIUM.

In Latin, it roughly translates as "The Home of the Shouting Men".

The storyline revolves apparantly around the Gills getting drawn away in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.....to Newcastle United.

It'll be in the bargain basket in asda.

Well, when I heard that only £500,000 had been spent making the film, it always worries me, because low-budget films tend not to do very well, but we'll wait and see.

You mean like Kevin Smith's Clerks, or Paranormal Activity, or the Blair Witch Project, or The Hangover ....

Well, the perception is that because they haven't spent a lot of money on a film, that it might not impress etc.

Obviosuly, there are exceptions.

We'll just have to see whether people like the film when they see it.

Well, the budget for this film I thought was very low which suggested to me that I thought I wasn't going to like the film.

But I've seen the trailer and it looks promising, so we'll just have to see.
