At the start of the season I and others expressed our thoughts on the director of sport doing the managers job, I for one was far from happy . It wasnt so much that he was a paid executive of the club, to me when a manager leaves a club to better himself and then returns because it all went pear shape is straight away walking a thin line with the supporters he left. What has sealed Chris Turners fate with the pools supporters is his criticism of them - all of them, because he didnt name any names, and by not doing that every supporter is the one he is referring to. Any manager of a football club would never dream of alienating himself from the fans by criticising them, but their lies the rub; Chris is no ordinary manager and he knows it!
