Under severe pressure to win a game next week - and I can't see us beating Carlisle now - Huddersfield are on a bit of a wobbler so Pools need to target that one

If Pools don't beat Hudders then I believe we will not be able to win again until the Southend match - and by then Pools would deffo be in the bottom 4

We now have teams below us who have played more games. We only dropped one place.

If we play like we did in the last half an hour last week we'll beat Huddersfiled, they have a poor away record and we seem to do well against them at the Vic.

Sack negativity and doom and gloom I'm looking forward to the game next week, I don't see the point in flapping when we didn't even have a game.

PJ hits the nail right on the head there, we may only be 2 points off the bottom 4, but some teams below us have played twice since we did.

We are also a point and 2 points ahead of Exeter and Gillingham respectively with a game in hand on them both.

I don't believe we will go down and although closer to relegation (point wise) than this time last week it's not as bad as it could have been.

I reckon we need to push the boat out and get a proven out and out striker in for at least a month.
I think a positive move like that will be rewarded at the gate, so off setting some if not all of the cost.
This will also help young Brownie get back to full fitness.......twenty minutes off the bench here and there.

This is not purely an anti Humphreys post but once we removed him from the field of play we improved. We've been playing with ten men for most of the season, leave him on the bench and we'll stay up. Play him and I'm convinced we'll go down. We cannot afford to carry the bloke.
