I might not have been able to go this Saturday if the game was still on, because of this...

The point I'm trying to make is: I might have had to get the train down if the Southampton game had been on, snow always seems to cause chaos for the trains in this part of the country.

The snow hasn't melted here at the moment

I don't think I would have made it up to London to get a train down to Southampton.

If you think the accent is that bad, Mr. Paulus, wait until you go to Chatham. rolfl

I seem to have lost a bit of any Kent accent that I had through school.

Some people are out of pocket due to the cancellation of the game. I'm sure you appreciate that as your always on about the cost of going to games.

Just out of interest and I'm sure this will please you,you can get a train back to Gillingham at 22:00 on the evening of the rearranged game arriving at Gillingham at 00:52 (2hr 52 min journey) if you miss that, which is possible as the ground is a 20-30 minute walk from the station, the next one is at 22:30 taking the grand time of 3 hrs 02 minutes. Getting to Gillingham at 01:32 the next morning. The 22:30 better run on time as well as you have less than 15 mins between connections at both change stations.

If the 22:30 is cancelled (maybe snow or any other reason) you can get the 23:00 which gets you in at Gillingham at 06:21 on Wednesday so 7 hrs 21 mins, you may need to book a hotel.

Can you afford that ?????

Looking at those train times you would have been better off the game being played on Saturday.
