Hartlepool has always been a place where away teams get intimidated, by foul mouthed aggressive fans like me
I don't ever recall Pools being a family club in any shape, way or form when I grew up
If you were a kid at Pools you behaved like the adults - vulgar, obnoxious and screaming obscenities at opponents and their fans - and getting behind the team vociferously
To me that is why I like football - it is tribal
The day the lads are ousted and the family takes over is the day English football died

Oh wait a minute........... :roll:
