but i was listening to gobstoppers tonight [briefly], they talked about the darlo run being almost a mirror image in reverse of our run. he showed great sympathy for the loids and during the bouts of laughter over our exceptional form and the slight pat on the back for achieving a league record.
he mentioned that pools crowd during the promotion run only went up on average to 4/500 per game that season. again sympathising with the loids but he did say the obvious they had blew it this season
and pools should go on and achieve their goal
it was a bloke called Scott with a squeaky voice from the Echo obviously a loid
can we prove him wrong?

I wish I could remember the site with a load of journos' predictions at the start of the season - Northern Echo I think - most of them were creaming their pants over Darlo's prospects and had us down for consolidation/mid table mediocrity. Personally I had both clubs down for the latter, but what the hell do I know?

There are some depressing attendance figures in that lot. I had totally forgotten we just scraped over a thousand for so many league games during the 90s. Selective memory remembering the good old days!

Does anyone know how many season tickets we sold this season?
