Oh f*** off.

had a lumpy bet on spurs as they are different class to leeds, as they proved last night. men against boys. even the standard cheating officials who got every single major decision wrong couldnt keep leeds in the game.

did anyone else notice in the last 10 minutes how many shocking late challenges the leeds players put in ? no idea how they managed to keep 11 men on the pitch. never change do they dirty leeds ?

Well we are a league 1 team they are 4th in the prem, Jermaine Defoe is worth double our whole team, its no suprise. Spurs 4/5 last night was a huge price I'd have backed if I had any money, ha. Backed Spurs -1 in the first leg unfortunatly. Leeds were only a goal behind at worst until the last minute last night, so were always in the game.

It's hard to argue when;

a) You could have easily lost 10-0 and that's if only Defoe took his chances!

b) Yes 0, as I counted at least four players clearly offside for your goal!

We should have had a penalty before we scored where Snodgrass was fouled in the area but stayed up instead of hitting the deck as any prem player would have done.

As I said, its to be expected we are league 1 (as everybody loves to remind us so much) and they are 4th in the prem.

I was surprised how poorly you defended to be honest the scoreline didn't really reflect the match I accept that Spurs are a very good side but the amount of times you got caught square was unreal. That one were Defoe got clean through in the first half from Jenas's clearance was pub defending! Maybe you expect Spurs to win and be clearly the better side but you don't expect a team who can go to Old Trafford and keep a clean sheet to get carved open by one hoof up the park.

I hope that Michelak plays on Saturday!

He will probably and score...

I just hope turner was watching and saw someone with a bit of pace will cause problems just as Defo did.

We missed Kisnorbo. Also Hughes is filling in at left back as he has all season while Ben Parkers injured. 4th game against a top prem side this season eventually the difference will show. Also we've played 9 more games than Spurs this season, though shouldn't use that as a excuse.

Hopefully Kisnorbo will be back for Saturday and we can concentrate on the leauge now.

I'm looking at our squad and can only see one flaw in this.

Yes, Pools were struggling to compete pacewise at Elland Road on Boxing Day, another one where I saw them lose.

Surely you are forgetting our forgotten paceman. He can surely run past the Leeds back 4, but whether he then can strike another one like this is another matter ....
