Best midfield player on show. Made every pass and tackles for fun.
IMO we deserved at least a point. Little triangles between Austin, Gamble and Larkin first half was good to watch, it was only a pity James Brown wasn't available to take them on.
I'm not sure it's planned but Monkhouse roamed about and caused problems for the league leaders.
Behan just needed to be more composed and would have given us a second.
Turner was animated and encouraging more effort and even the subs were right. Jones for Humps, Boyd for Behan, I do wonder why they aren't in from the start when we play a passing game like that.
Anyway the point is Gamble could become a legend playing like that, he is always available so forces Pools to pass.

Gamble is getting better with every game, which is to be expected as he adjusts.
All we need now is Rowell in their with him and a goalscorer on loan.
I was disappointed with Behan, he has a hammer of a shot but rarely uses it.
