Thank fek we won the game 1-0, as the bloke had been retired for 16 yrs, was actually a wing half, their manager, and only played due to a keeper crisis.(Wiki has him wrong at 52 btw).

He had good pedigree though, was a Scottish International, and had played for Man U, Everton and Liverpool amongst other clubs, what a hero eh!, they should make a film about it. Johnny Dep can play the Pools goalscorer.

Slightly off at a tangent, unusual for this messageboard, PC just received some begging mail from Guide Dogs for The Blind today, including pictures of dogs, heads only.

My immediate thought was "Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia".
