well I'll back you up mate!!! In case everyone is wondering, the Bahrain Grand Prix takes place about that time of year, and Bahrain Poolie will kindly offer to act as Mein Host for a couple of days out there, if anyone should be interested in travelling over.

I'd be interested in a do out there. I used to go to lots of GPs some years ago.

Oh I agree, the racing is tedious these days but there is still a great atmosphere around the town when the GP circus hits.

as you all know i have absolutely no interest in mechanics/cars etc

yeeeeeeeeeeears ago whence we lived in Ulster I got took to the Ulster Grand Prix [motorbikes], this gadgie had got his son and me these posh tickets and access to the pits [whoopee-do], anyways this racing guy wins the world title but to complete the fixture he had to ride in the last race too.
any hoo silly sod crashed his bike and broke his neck

.. Better still, just set up a deckchair at the bottom of Truro Drive at teatime and watch the daft lads take off when the lights change ....instant fumes, etc, etc......
