Sounds likke it might be on hiatus in the US. The UK usually plays an episode of a series about a couple of weeks after it's aired in the US. If Fox, House's US network, has put the series on production hiatus for a couple of months, then it will not be back on Sky in the UK until a couple of weeks after the hiatus has finished and it has aired again in the US.

The last episode shown in the US was on 30th November, they have just started again on the 11th January, with another due to be shown tonight. There is no sign of planning for over here yet, but that will leave us 2 episodes behind.
