I only used to wear the shirt in my youth to go to gym and play squash / footy. Never seen the need to buy one as got older as would never wear it to games (as go out drinking after) and £30+ quid for a t-shirt you never wear is expensive.

The shirt itself looks quite decent I think BUT...

The LOG logo ruins it. banghead banghead banghead

Surely to god being and oil company they have enough cash to get a logo designed properly. It spoils the look of the shirt. A kid could design that logo with a fecking stencil

anyway football shirts are for kids and chavs. if you all want to wear some clingy polyester shit which allows you beer gut overhang to protrude underneath then that's up to you.

and the ships wheel logo is a pile of stinking log too.

I saw in the flesh for the first time at Charlton and I must say it looks class.

It's one of the best away kits I think we've had at least since the yellow strip during 2006/2007.

When we wear that strip, dare I say it, it makes us look like Man United to me.

You could always sponsor Pools yourself, and get a kid to design a logo and have that on the shirt.

I can't believe people are moaning about ANOTHER company's logo simply because it's on our shirt's.

Thats why, its on Pools shirts, therefore it should at least look ok not a figure of fun. Like when west ham were going to have jiffy condoms on the front.

I'm not comparing us, the team, to Man United. I'm comparing the strip to one Man United wore.

But that's the way I think the kits have been better designed now.

I swear sometimes when I see Doncaster Rovers' kit, it makes me think that they look like Bayern Munich.

For me now, Colchester United look like Hertha Berlin.

The all-black AIG one - it's a very recent kit.

Tip of the day

1) Read some of the posts mocking PoK, or suggesting he's a bit dim, or on a wind-up.
2) Check who's making those posts

See, you couldn't make it up could you

sctatchinghead are you suggesting i'm one of the ones on a wind up or have i totally missed the point?

To be honest, I've never read so much shite in one place since the Park Bogs in 1972, and even that was relevant and eloquently expressed, so I'm off for a few days. I was off for a few days this week hoping for an improvement. It didn't happen.

It's a new shirt, it's not the invasion of Dunkirk, buy it or don't buy it but for fucks sake grow up.

I'd have to agree to be honest.

It's no wonder message boards don't have much credibility with clubs when you read threads like this, my 'favourite' part was Grave complaining about the name of the sponsor. People question whether POK is 'taking the piss' or 'on a wind up' when his contribution is nowhere near the worst thing in this thread, I know I laughed at his Colchester/Hertha Berlin comparison but at least his contribution is positive! As Mr Spender said if you don't like the shirt you don't buy it, if you do, do! Not everyone has the same taste. It just looks like a football top to me, a fairly smart one. Nothing to get excited about.

"No keep your money Mr Generous sponsor, the fans don't want to walk about with LOG in their shirts they'll look a bit shit"
