I would have to agree with Neale Cooper. The team he manages now is 8 mile away from my house. He's not too popular with the locals at the moment.

I think I could manage a) and c), but I wouldn't be interested in b) unless someone had cut her voicebox out first.

Nonsense!?

Turner has one relegation on his CV from the Championship. Hodgson has only ever managed one club in the fourth division.

Who has a better CV? As inept as I think he is these days only Turner actually HAS a CV as a football manager!!

From memory, weren't the Wendies as good as down when he went there?

They were........which is the reason the previous manager was shown the door.

They were second bottom when he took over and completely demoralised. By the time he turned it round it was too late. In the last sixteen games of the season they only lost three times.
It could be argued that he had long enough to turn it round but he did average 1.173 points, which over a season would have kept them up.
So you pays yer money and takes yer choice.
At the time they were very cash strapped. Steve Haslam was in central defence.

so his time at stockport county has been airbrushed from the history books ?

if sheff wed were demoralised when he took over what were stockport when he left ? he had them 3/4 of the way to the conference ffs !

he leaves sheff wed the new manager gets the same team promoted.

he leaves stockport miles adrift at the foot of the entire football league at xmas and the new bloke somehow saves them then gets them promoted.

pattern developing there like.

which is good for us when(if) he does go clappp

I was merely saying he has a CV compared to bodgson, I wasn't trying suggest he has a record to be proud of since he left us the first time because it's really shite.

The (frightening and quite frankly, absurd) question at the start of the thread was about David Hodgson.

I am in no way defending him, O mighty one. Just pointing out the stats at Wednesday. Stockport weren't mentioned.
Seeing as you mentioned Stockport......I would imagine they were devastated. HTH.
