I'm honestly beginning to feel as though our beloved club has gone full circle, and is now back were it was pre IOR...... Of course in reality that's nonsense, but the feeling of utter fooking despair I feel right now is very similar to what it was in the bad old days.

I'm not and never have been one to call for a managers head, (fully aware that the cream of football managers are not beating a path to the door of Hartlepool United) but i do now feel that enoughs enough. And if we can't afford a 'proper' manager then for fooks sake pools, come out and say so.... Utterly, utterly pissed off.

its funny this , well its not remotely funny but you know what I mean.... , I was thinking at the match how people talk about the bad old days - well I never seen em, but these ARE bad days maybe not as bad as decades ago, but bad bad days none the less.

And I agree, I first started watching Pools properly when tait was in charge and we were bottom of the league and i have never seen us play as bad as what we did yesterday.

After 15 minutes our jack said to me I've never seen Pools play so bad. I said to him [as you do] that its early days yet/you never know etc because I didn't want to dishearten him further....but it was clear we were utter utter shi'ite! Bad days are here and now make no bones about it.

I agree, the full team ran around that pitch yesterday like a bunch of headless chickens, including Flinders, who was never in his goal, they lack confidence, they have no motivation and it is obvious that they have lost faith in CT, I would say that, from my point of view, they are as bad as they were under Scotty. They need a leader, they need someone to kick their backsides, not a manager who makes constant excuses for their deterioting performances. Morale is low, it was totally obvious yesterday, and Im afraid if something isnt done soon, the only way is down. banghead

I'm always optimistic at matches, no matter how bad the game is going, I believe/hope we are going to get back into it. But all I was thinking yesterday was how many are we going to lose this by?

After 10 minutes I knew it would be 4 or 5 by the end and said so to the bloke I was sat next to.

I also discussed the game against Frankenclub about 5 years ago when we beat them 5-0. Seems a lot longer than 5 years

In short I didn't think our players looked remotely up for the game yesterday and we let Frankenclub bully us. That comes from the management. However, as much as it pains me to say, I thought they played superbly and it would be disingenuous to suggest that it was simply down to us being poor.

Still, come the next home game I will be sat in my seat in the CK stand and will be 100% behind my team. I wouldn't mind going to the Bristol game but will have to see how things go this week re work etc.
