That was dreadful. I like to think of myself as a rational, sensible man who doesn't get wound up easily but that was one of the hardest 90 minutes I've ever sat through in my life for these reasons...

Turner and his tactical ineptness - two defensive central midfielders when we're at home Chris? A (supposedly) attacking midfielder at right back when we have one on the bench? Jones played out on the right? I could go on. The substitutions were just like for like, no real attempt to change the course of the game.

Bjornsson - he was poor, undoubtedly poor. People got on his back very quickly which I'm sure didn't help. Yet, was I the only one who was squirming with embarrassment when he taken off with 5 minutes of the half left to play? I'm sure that'll do the lad's confidence the world of good. Someone behind me said 'well, you won't be saying that if Behan scores'. That's not the point - for one we didn't look like scoring and for two it shows a serious lack of man-management.

Playing 'football' - did we actually play any football today? By football I don't mean aimless long punts or short passes that had the only outcome of landing straight at an opposing players feet. We looked very, very one-dimensional all day. By the way, did we even have a shot at goal today? I cannot remember us even troubling Gueret once in the whole game.

We were basically taken the piss out of by an average team who recognised our weakness and played some football. When teams do that we look hopeless. Turner out? I don't think he's the man to take us forward but I'm still not a supporter of that brigade.

agree with the bjornson thing yes he was poor but to take him off when he did was uncalled for, and yes he was poor, but he wasnt the main problem the service hima dn boydy got was pretty much non existant, behan on really didnt change it that much as the service just wasnt there too them. he would have been much better sorting the embarrasment of a midfield out rather than changing their positions every 10 mins in the first half

The substitution of Bjorn was embarrasing yes. I felt sorry for the bloke, he has said many times the physical side of the game aint his strongest and the guy clearly wants the ball to his feet or chest as thats what he is good at. Sadly not once did he recieve the ball to his feet. Neither probably did Boyd.

I understand what you mean but only because he is tall doesnt mean he has to play the target man role does it? If you have brilliant skills with your feet but are 7ft tall, does that mean you should become atarget man and ask for the ball to your head and not your feet? Its obvious to anyone watching that he aint up for the physical side of the game, he said himself the leagues he played in werent this physical. It just seems to me when we pass to his feet that he creates something. The guy has a great touch and pass but with his feet not his head.
