liddle - a midfielder in defence and too much like clark - perhaps cherel would have been best bet - one player and one defender to put his foot through the ball.

austin - left back - canny has a left foot - should he have been at right back, liddle on the left, cherel in the middle?

jones on the right - the other week we had five wingers on the pitch, today we had one. If larkin, mcsweeney, or fredriksen are okay for the bench then they are okay to start surely?

humphreys - same role as gamble - where's the drive - shouldnt have been picked alongside gamble, jones or sweeney even

monkhouse - no brainer

bjornsson - once behan was warm he was rightly taken off - not consistent enough yet for english game.

We lost today as we had so many players out of position it was unreal and there was just zero balance or shape to the game.

Was just going to point that out about Clark too. He has never been a midfielder and never will be.

So we play ok against oldham for 85 minutes yet turner has to fanny about. Liddle has had an ok season but with him at centre back we were still shipping goals for fun. The defence should of seen Cherel and Clark at centre back and Austin on the right. Liddle or Humphreys at left back, i know it isn't their natural posistion but one change in defence is surely anough?

I can't even be arsed to comment on the midfield ... And our strikers have to feed off scraps which must be frustrating...

Idiot, in the correct position Jones is one of the best players at the club, i walked out today when he was replaced by Larkin.

clark is more a midfielder than a defender, we just play him in defence.

If you honestly believe this then every comment you make can be taken with a pintch of salt.

Clark even says himself he is a centre back, he has never looked comfortable in midfield and is too slow for playing there.

he was noted for his midfield talents at sunderland than his defensive abilities - in fact if you recall he was one of just a few decent players for them when he played in midfield against us in the fa cup at sland way back when

He was a centre half at Sunderland, and he's still a centre half now.

He did play in midfield at Sunderland, as well as defence, as he has done here.
Boxing is his best sport though.

He has played in midfield and is also capable of playing at right back as well

Bring back the likes of Roy Hogan. Very limited in terms of skill but never once was his effort or application questioned.

It does'nt matter what team we pick at the moment, if they are'nt tactically and mentally prepared they'll still get drubbed.
